SPECIAL ACCREDITATION

The Masterton Motorplex Track Coordinator can, at his discretion, provide Media Accreditation to any person at short notice. This is primarily to facilitate an unusual or special situation (such as a reporter from a local newspaper, a media person traveling with an overseas race team, or a person whom the Coordinator otherwise chooses). It will not be used to facilitate somebody who forget to apply, or didn’t realise that they had to apply.

In a situation where a special Media Accreditation is granted, all of the Conditions listed below apply, and must be followed.

CONDITIONS

Over and above any agreements from within the NZDRA or Masterton Motorplex media applications, all media representatives must agree to the following:

  • On your first visit to the facility you must undergo a site induction by a suitably qualified Masterton Motorplex Health and Safety Officer. This will be recorded in a Health and Safety register. This site induction may require updating from time-to-time at the discretion of the Heath and Safety Officer.
  • Immediately upon entry to the facility at the beginning of every visit, you must complete and sign the indemnity form (situated on the ground floor of the commentators tower).
  • You must follow any requirements relating to health and at all times and in all areas of the drag strip.
  • You must follow all crew instructions at all times.
  • You agree to supply Masterton Motorplex upon request, for use on their website, a number of suitable unbranded high resolution images from each day of each meeting. Details of file sizes etc should be discussed with the webmaster.

REVOCATION OF MEDIA ACCREDITATION

The Masterton Motorplex Track Coordinator reserves the right to cancel or revoke the Masterton Motorplex Media Accreditation at any time without prior notice.

The Masterton Motorplex Track Coordinator also reserves the right to order any person from the facility at any time.
